Acoustic Determinator is a very convenient and intuitive tool for acoustic engineers who want to find out (determine) the sound power level of industrial sources by measuring sound pressure levels in the field. Using data from field measurements, Acoustic Determinator can guide you in the determination of sound power levels of various sources in accordance with a wide range of leading national and international standards, such as the ISO 3744, 3746 and 8297 standards recommended by the European Commission for strategic noise mapping. The sound power levels calculated in Acoustic Determinator can be used directly as input of a noise source in a Predictor model. Acoustic Determinator is included in the Predictor Plus and Advanced configuration but can also be purchased separately.
